The Kenneth King Foundation is a private foundation founded by Kenneth Kendal King in 1990. Located in Denver, Colorado, the foundation was established to perpetuate and expand the eleemosynary principles that Mr. King developed in his lifetime of helping those less fortunate than himself.  Today at the King Foundation, their continued focus is to help those in need by reflecting on Mr. King’s childhood motto, “To do the common thing in an uncommon way.”

The King Foundation has recognized the importance of the Auraria Campus with major gifts to the Kenneth King Performing Arts Center, Auraria Library and now the Center for Colorado & the West at Auraria Library.
